PM CDT...

At 855 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 12 miles southeast of Escanaba to 15 miles east
of Cedar River to near Newport State Park. Movement was east at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Newport State Park around 900 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Washington Island,
Rock Island State Park, Sister Bay, Rowleys Bay, and Ellison Bay.
