...THUNDERSTORMS WITH GUSTY WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN WILL IMPACT WESTERN
PORTAGE COUNTY THROUGH 845 PM CDT...

At 751 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles west of Whiting to
7 miles southeast of Lake Wazeecha. Movement was north at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Torrential rainfall and wind gusts up to 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Heavy rain may result in localized
         flooding.

Thunderstorms will be near...
Stevens Point around 755 PM CDT.
Whiting around 805 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Kellner, Coddington,
Junction City, Meehan, Plover, and Biron.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Radar estimates that 1 to 2 inches of rain has occurred over western
portions of Portage County, with the heaviest rain thus far staying
west of Stevens Point and Plover. If traveling in these areas, do
not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
