Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
227 AM CST Wed Feb 12 2025

Clouds were spreading eastward across the area early this morning.
Before the clouds arrived, temperatures dropped below zero at
many locations, including the teens below zero across far north-
central Wisconsin. Temperatures across central into east-central
Wisconsin rebounded into the single digits above zero once the
clouds arrived.

Snow will overspread much of the region today, bringing snow
covered and slippery roads that will impact the afternoon and
evening commute. Snowfall totals will range from less than
an inch across the far north, to 3 to 5 inches across the Fox
Valley and 4 to 6 inches across Kewaunee and Manitowoc counties.
Locally higher amounts up to 7 inches possible near the lake in
Manitowoc County. The snow will come to an end early Thursday
morning. Another round of snow is expected Friday afternoon into
Saturday morning. This system has the potential to bring at least
several more inches of snow.

The cold weather will continue today with highs in the teens
to lower 20s. Lows tonight should drop into the single digits
above and below zero across central and north-central Wisconsin
to around 10 above zero near the Lake Michigan shoreline. Except
for Saturday where high temperatures will be closer to normal,
the cold weather is expected to continue through the middle of
next week. Bitterly cold wind chill readings are possible
Monday and Tuesday morning.
