.DISCUSSION...
Near record high temperatures are likely again Saturday
afternoon. Readings will be in the mid to upper 80s for many.
Winds then pick up out of the south Saturday afternoon, peaking
Sunday afternoon. Widespread gusts of 30 to 35 knots will be
possible during this time. With the stronger winds comes concerns
for elevated fire weather potential, mainly on Sunday. RHs may
make it down into the low to mid 30s across sandy soil areas in
far northeast Wisconsin, which would increase the risk for power
line fires. Next noteworthy chances for rain/storms then arrive
late on Sunday as a cold front arrives from the west.
Cooler temperatures are forecast for the middle of next week.
