.DISCUSSION...
Near-surface smoke will impact the region at times through the weekend.
Dry conditions with cool nights and warm days are expected through
the middle of next week. Seasonably low afternoon relative humidity
values (25-40 percent) are also anticipated, especially in the sandy
soil regions. The first chance for a widespread rainfall would likely
not occur until next Wednesday or Thursday at the earliest.
