Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. * WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Kansas and southwest Nebraska. * WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening. However, snow is likely to end in the next few hours which would allow the warning to be cancelled early. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency. For road conditions in Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado call 511. Do not use GPS for alternate routes or go around barricades. Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutely necessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden changes in visibility. Leave plenty of room between you and the motorist ahead of you, and allow extra time to reach your destination. Avoid sudden braking or acceleration, and be especially cautious on hills or when making turns. Make sure your car is winterized and in good working order. Persons traveling on Interstate 70 will experience travel delays and hazardous driving conditions. Use extreme caution if you must travel. && $$ 024
