The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  South central Cheyenne County in east central Colorado...

* Until 830 PM MDT.

* At 727 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Kit Carson, or 23 miles west of Cheyenne Wells,
  moving southeast at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and baseball size hail.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters reported funnel cloud. At 724 PM MDT, a
           funnel cloud and baseball sized hail was reported
           over Kit Carson.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  south central Cheyenne County in east central Colorado.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
