...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN NORTON...DECATUR...RED
WILLOW AND EASTERN HITCHCOCK COUNTIES THROUGH 130 AM CDT...

At 1259 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Medicine Creek Reservoir
State Recreation Area to 5 miles east of McCook to 7 miles north of
Herndon. Movement was south at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Mesonet. The McCook Airport reported a gust to 48 mph with
         outflow ahead of the rainfall.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Indianola and Bartley around 105 AM CDT.
  Danbury around 110 AM CDT.
  Oberlin and Lebanon around 115 AM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Goodland.
