...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EASTERN YUMA COUNTY IN
NORTHEASTERN COLORADO AND NORTHWESTERN CHEYENNE COUNTIES IN
NORTHWESTERN KANSAS THROUGH 645 PM MDT/745 PM CDT/...

At 624 PM MDT/724 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 8 miles southwest of Haigler, or 13 miles southeast of
Wray. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of eastern Yuma County
in northeastern Colorado and northwestern Cheyenne Counties in
northwestern Kansas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Goodland.
