...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN CHEYENNE AND WESTERN
KIT CARSON COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL COLORADO THROUGH 500 PM MDT...

At 434 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 3 miles northeast of Genoa to 10 miles west of
Boyero. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Cheyenne and western Kit Carson Counties in east central Colorado,
including the following locations... Wild Horse and Aroya.

This includes Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 391 and
412.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
east central Colorado.
