Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

The overnight hours saw a mix of cloud cover and clear skies
across the region with the cloud cover slowly expanding south.
Temperatures as of one in the morning ranged from 30 in Flagler,
Colorado to 46 in Hill City, Kansas. Winds were from the north at
15 to 25 mph and gusts to 35 mph.

OUTLOOK... Today is forecast to be much colder compared to
yesterday with temperatures in the 40s and 50s and mostly cloud
skies. Winds are forecast to remain from the north at 15 to 25 mph
with gusts to 30 mph. There could be a few light rain or snow
showers, mainly west of Highway 83. Tonight, mostly cloudy skies
are forecast to continue with low temperatures generally around
30. Light snow is forecast to develop in Eastern Colorado, with
accumulations around one inch possible. Tomorrow, another cool day
is expected with temperatures in the 40s and 50s. Partly cloudy
to mostly cloudy skies are forecast with winds from the east at 10
to 15 mph. A few light rain and snow showers are possible during
the day.
