Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Over the past 24 hours, the Tri State region has seen daytime
highs top off in range only in the lower to mid 20s. Lows during
this time were cold with a few records. Lows ranged mainly from
the single numbers above and below zero. Snow did fall over
portions of the area yesterday morning, with Kit Carson and
Sherman counties seeing the bulk of accumulation ranging from 4
to 8 inches.

OUTLOOK... Dry conditions are expected area-wide this weekend
through next week as near to above normal temperatures today give
way to above normal conditions from Sunday onward. Some areas
could see windy conditions next Monday and Wednesday.

Highs in the 40s and 50s today will give way to mainly 50s and
60s from Sunday onward. Next Monday and Tuesday however could see
60s and 70s. Overnight lows tonight will range in the teens and
20s, but from Sunday night onward, a mix of 20s and 30s are
expected.
