Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

The overnight hours saw cloudy skies for most of the region with a
few showers in West-Central Kansas and East-Central Colorado.
Temperatures as of one in the morning ranged from 30 in Flagler,
Colorado to 44 in Hill City, Kansas. Winds were either calm or
from the north at 10 mph.

OUTLOOK... Another cold and soggy day is forecast as more rain and
snow is expected to move through the region. Snow will mostly be
confined to Eastern Colorado with rain for the rest of the region.
Total rain accumulations are forecast to generally exceed one inch
while snow forecasts range from 3 to 12 inches. For Eastern
Colorado, blowing snow is also forecast and may cause temporary
white out conditions. Tonight, the rain and snow showers are
forecast to continue, but begin to end from south to north. Lows
are forecast to be in the 20`s and 30`s. Tomorrow, the
precipitation is forecast to come to an end through the day with
the sun peaking out for locales generally along and south of
Interstate 70. Highs are forecast to reach the upper 30`s to lower
50`s.
