This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

Freezing fog will impact the Highway 27 corridor from Sherman county
south to Greeley county and over to Wichita county through the mid
morning hours. The fog will be dense at times with visibility near
zero. Elevated surfaces may become slick.

Near critical to critical fire weather is forecast across Kit Carson
and Cheyenne counties in east Colorado this afternoon. Fires may
become harder to control and contain. Adjacent counties in Kansas
(from Sherman south to Greeley) have forecasted near critical fire
weather conditions this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Spotter activation will not be needed, but any visibility reports of
fog would be greatly appreciated.
