This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

A line of thunderstorms capable of producing wind gusts of 70 MPH
should move into East Central Colorado from 5-7 PM MDT. The storm
activity will spread east through the rest of the Tri-State Area,
lasting past midnight. The favored time for these wind gusts will be
during the evening.

Large hail up to ping-pong ball size may occur with the storms later
today moving in from Colorado, and with any storms that form from
Leoti to Hill City after 4 PM CDT. However there is low confidence
for the storms to form over the southeast part of the Tri-State Area.

Prolonged heavy rainfall may lead to flooding in low-lying areas
tonight for Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Any hail, wind, or flooding reports will be very helpful tonight.
