This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska...
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

Much above normal temperatures will result in a moderate heat risk
across the area today. Highs will be in the 90s to around 100.

Widely scattered thunderstorms will develop this afternoon in
northeast Colorado and continue tonight west of Highway 25 in Kansas
and Nebraska. Localized damaging wind gusts will be possible, but the
overall severe threat will be low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

Much above normal temperatures will continue through mid week with
heat indices possibly above 100 east of Highway 25.

Daily afternoon and evening storm chances through at least mid week
with locally heavy rainfall and damaging wind gusts the main
hazards.
