.DISCUSSION...
No critical fire weather conditions are expected through the next 5
days with enough moisture lingering to keep RH generally above
20-25%. Winds are also forecast to be below 15 mph much of the next 5
days in the absence of storms with a broad surface pressure gradient
over the Plains.
Speaking of storms, we continue the daily chances for storms through
much of the week. The prime time seems to mainly be between 4pm-11pm
MT, though storms may linger through the nighttime hours a few times.
Most of the storms are forecast to be sub-severe, but likely
producing erratic wind directions and gusts of 40-60 mph. Be careful,
as wind gusts up to 80 mph and large hail above 2 inches will be
possible if we get organized lines and/or supercells.
