.DISCUSSION...
Despite our persistent ridging pattern bringing hot temperatures to
the area, fire weather concerns are minimal for the week. Relative
humidity (RH) values are forecast to remain above 20% accompanied by
winds generally under 20 mph through the week. Today through
Tuesday, there is a chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
Main hazard with storms will be erratic winds with gusts from 50 to
60 mph. Low confidence in flash flooding and hail. Storms are
expected to enter the area by sunset and exit the area by morning.
