.DISCUSSION...scattered thunderstorms can be expected across the area
this afternoon and evening, some severe, with erratic winds. On Tuesday,
critical fire weather conditions are likely in Colorado and adjacent
areas of northwest Kansas. Scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms
will also create locally gusty winds in the remainder of the area.
For the rest of the week, afternoon relative humidity minimums will drop
below 20% each day. Wind gusts may occasionally approach 25 mph resulting
in briefly critical conditions. However, not enough confidence in more
widespread gusty winds for additional watches at this time.
