.DISCUSSION...
Despite high temperatures warming into the 90s to low 100s over the
next week, RH values look to remain above 20% and winds look to
largely remain under 20 MPH, eliminating critical fire weather
concerns. We are expecting daily chances of storms in the afternoon
into the overnight hours over the next several days. Storms today
have a small chance at producing dry lightning, especially before
sunset. The main hazard with storms over the next few day will be
winds in the 50-70 MPH range, but hail and a low chance of flash
flooding are also possible. Today, winds will largely be light and
variable, but occasional gusts around 15 MPH are possible.
