.DISCUSSION...
Northwesterly winds gusting around 20-30 MPH will persist through the
afternoon until around sunset. We`ll get a couple hours of weaker
winds, but a cold front coming in from the north will lead to gusty
winds from the north-northwest. Gusts will generally be in the 30-40
MPH range, with isolated 40-50 MPH gusts possible. By sunrise, winds
will be gradually calming.
Thursday will be the next day to keep an eye on as RH values will
drop into the upper teens in eastern Colorado and 20s for the rest of
the area. Winds from the northwest will also be gusting around 20 MPH
throughout the afternoon.
Dry conditions are forecast to persist throughout the next week, but
critical fire weather conditions are not likely.
