.DISCUSSION...
Wind this afternoon from the north-northwest will continue. The
strongest gusts will be happening in the early afternoon, when gusts
up to 50 MPH are possible. After 4PM, gusts will be closer to 30
MPH, and within an hour or two of sunset, gusts will drop to less
than 15 MPH. Winds will become more variable tonight, but remain
fairly light.
Tomorrow, winds will be calmer and RH values will rebound. Monday,
winds from the east may gust around 25 MPH, but will be bringing in
additional moisture. Precipitation chances increase starting Monday
night and continue off and on through the week. Monday night, we may
see some snow/rain mix, but later in the week, lightning may become
an issue. Wednesday is a day of elevated concern, but confidence in
critical conditions is less than 15%.
