.DISCUSSION...
No concerns for critical fire weather conditions through at least
Thursday as relative humidity is forecast to be around or above 25%.
Friday brings the next potential concern as front pushes through and
brings drier air with relative humidity near 15% for counties along
the Colorado border. Wind gusts are forecast to be around 20-25%.
The near term concern is on storms that may impact the area this
evening, tonight, and then again late tomorrow. These storms are
forecast to bring wind gusts around 30-60 mph, frequent lightning,
and maybe some hail around an inch. The good news is that they should
be fairly efficient rain producers, which may help lower the fire
danger once they pass.
