.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry conditions will continue today and Monday with
southeasterly winds of 5 to 15 mph expected and little threat
for critical fire weather conditions. On Tuesday a cold front will
sweep across area, bringing a sharp wind shift to the north with winds
increasing to 15 to 25 mph.
Fire weather threat will increase across portions of eastern Colorado on
Wednesday as front retreats to the north. Southerly winds of 15 to 25 mph
with higher gusts, humidities of 20-25% and hot conditions are expected
in Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties by Wednesday afternoon.
