Drought Information Statement

Precipitation amounts varied across the area in June. Above normal
precipitation in northern areas (northern Yuma County, Colorado,
into southwest Nebraska) resulted in drought improvement. However,
below normal precipitation in other parts of Colorado (southern
Yuma into Kit Carson) resulted in drought worsening.
