A general additional 4-8 inches of snow is expected through tomorrow night, with higher amounts over the southern San Juans. Elsewhere, afternoon showers and even a few thunderstorms are expected. Travel across mountain passes will be a bit difficult, especially during the nighttime hours, where snow can accumulate most efficiently on the road surface. There is a potential for a freeze tonight across lower valley locations, with Freeze Watches and Warnings in effect.
