For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
A fall storm will continue to dump snow on the San Juans today thanks to a
nearly stationary low pressure center drifting across the region. This will
yield additional snowfall of 6 to 15 inches across the San Juans and lesser
amounts northward in our Central Mountains by Sunday morning. Temperatures
will warm elsewhere across the region not under the impacts of
precipitation. Stubborn mild air will keep temperatures across the northern
and central areas near to just above October climatology, while the
southern areas under more influence of clouds and precipitation will remain
below normal today. This storm system lifts across the region on Sunday,
bringing more widespread shower activity. High pressure moves in next week,
with a return to dry conditions and warmer temperatures.
