For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
An upper level trough and surface cold front will keep snow falling over
the northern and central mountains through this morning with an additional
1 to 3 inches before improvement is seen this afternoon. Quiet conditions
move in this evening through Thursday afternoon until the next system
starts moving in Thursday evening. This next system is expected to bring
significant mountain snowfall to much of eastern UT and western CO heading
into the weekend. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for the southern and
central mountains where 1 to 2 feet of snow with locally higher amounts is
possible.
