For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Unsettled weather sticks around today, with another round of widespread
showers and thunderstorms expected. Plenty of moisture remains in place,
and the atmosphere has been able to moisten over the last few days,
bringing an increased threat of heavy rain and localized flash flooding to
the region, particularly southeast Utah and southwest Colorado. In
addition, these storms will be capable of producing some small hail and
gusty winds, as well as frequent lightning. The biggest uncertainty lies in
how long cloud cover sticks around this morning, as to weather we see
stronger thunderstorms or another day of steady rainfall. Temperatures
remain on the cooler end, running 3-5 degrees below normal.
