For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Another hot day is on tap today, but with moisture moving up from the south
showers will be on the increase, favoring the higher terrain. Look for
shower and thunderstorm coverage to increase over the next few days,
becoming widespread across eastern Utah and Western Colorado by Thursday.
The main threats with these showers and storms will be gusty outflow winds,
small hail, and frequent lightning. The potential for brief heavy will
increase slightly each day as the atmosphere saturates. With the increased
clouds and showers, expect temperatures to cool through the same period.
Coverage will gradually decrease from the Fourth of July onward.
