For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Another day, another round of mountain showers and thunderstorms. Isolated
showers will linger through the morning before eventually dissipating with
some scattered to broken cloud cover left behind. Drier air will push in
from the west this afternoon and will keep the highest chances of showers
and storms confined to the higher terrain of the San Juans and Central
Divide Mountains. Gusty winds and light, wetting rain possible with storms
today. The lower elevations, especially the desert valleys of eastern Utah
and western Colorado, will see increasing sunshine through the day after
morning cloud cover breaks. Temperatures remain near normal today, but will
warm as we move toward the coming weekend, thanks to a warmer airmass
moving in.
