For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
A strong fall storm will bring winterlike conditions to the higher
elevations this weekend. The storm moves to northeast Arizona today where
it will settle before lifting northeast across the region Sunday through
Sunday night. This system is expected to bring heavy snow to the eastern
Uinta,  La Sal, Abajo and San Juan Mountains through midday Sunday.
Accumulations could reach up to 3 feet over favored peaks in the San Juan
Mountains before all is said and done. Meanwhile, there will plenty of
rains showers over the lower elevations along with cooler than normal
temperatures regionwide.
