For eastern Utah and western Colorado, here is the latest weather
synopsis
Another day of record-setting heat is in store for eastern Utah and western
Colorado, although we will also see increased storm coverage this
afternoon. The best chances for showers and thunderstorms will be over the
higher terrain, especially along the Divide and over the San Juans. The
main threats with these storms will be lightning and gusty winds, although
some light to moderate rainfall is possible, again mainly over the San
Juans. Expect one more day of record heat and scattered showers before we
move into a cooler and wetter pattern for Sunday onward.
