...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL HINSDALE COUNTY
THROUGH 1230 PM MDT...

At 1200 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles southeast of Lake City, or 45 miles south of Gunnison, moving
east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central
Hinsdale County.

This includes Colorado 149 between mile markers 43 and 56.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
