...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL MONTEZUMA COUNTY
THROUGH 415 PM MDT...

At 354 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15
miles west of Cortez, or 38 miles southeast of Blanding, moving
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
         outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central
Montezuma County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Grand Junction.
