...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN ROUTT COUNTY
THROUGH 1115 PM MDT...
At 1044 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles northwest of Steamboat Springs, or 33 miles east of Craig,
moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and
outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mt Zirkel, Hahns Peak, and Clark.
