A number of Coop sites and weather sensors observed record high
temperatures today. These are preliminary measurements and should
not be considered official.

...Across Western Colorado...

The high temperature at Colorado National Monument was 103,
breaking the previous record of 97 set in 2020.

The high temperature at Cortez was 100, breaking the previous
record of 97 set in 2020.

The high temperature at Fruita was 103, breaking the previous
record of 101 set in 2019.

The high temperature at Glade Park 17W was 96, breaking the
previous record of 94 set in 2009.

The high temperature at Grand Junction 6ESE was 103, breaking
the previous record of 97 set in 2019.

The high temperature at Mesa 5SSE was 94, breaking the previous
record of 89 set in 2020.

The high temperature at Ouray NO.2 was 90, breaking the previous
record of 85 set in 2023.
