...UPDATED with additional record highs for February 4th...

Please note that these high temperatures were the 24 hour high
temperatures as reported by Cooperative Observers on the morning
of February 4th, or evening of February 4th. They count towards
the February 4th climate record.

...Across Western Colorado...

NEW - The high temperature at Altenbern was 64 degrees, breaking the
previous record high of 55 for February 4th, set in 1980.

The high temperature at 1 mile east of Cedaredge was 63 degrees
yesterday. This set a new record high for February 4th, breaking
the previous high of 61 in the Cedaredge area, set in 1934.

The high at Collbran was 63, breaking the previous record high of
60 for February 4th, set in 1963.

The high at Cortez was 67, breaking the previous record high of
64 for February 4th, set in 1934.

The high at 4 miles southwest of Craig was 56, breaking the
previous record high of 55 for February 4th, set in 2000.

The high at Crested Butte was 52, breaking the previous record
high of 49 for February 4th, set in 1954.

NEW - The high at 6 miles east-southeast of Grand Junction was 68,
breaking the previous record high of 58 for February 4th, set in
1995.

NEW - The high at the Grand Junction Regional Airport was 69,
breaking the previous record high of 59 for February 4th, set in
1934.

The high at 1 mile north-northeast of Lake City was 58, breaking
the previous record high of 56 for February 4th in the Lake City
area, set in 1963.

The high at Montrose was 69, breaking the previous record high of
61 for February 4th, set in 1934.

The high at Ouray was 64, breaking the previous record high of 59
for February 4th, set in 1963.

The high at Palisade was 69, breaking the previous record high of
63 for February 4th, set in 1954.

The high at Vail was 52, breaking the previous record high of 45
for February 4th, set in 1998.
