This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Southerly to southwesterly winds are expected to gust 40-50 mph
across the area today, with Wind Advisories in effect for most valley
locations. Where fuels are critical, these winds combined with dry
air will lead to localized critical fire weather conditions.
Temperatures remain 10-15 degrees above normal.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A cold front will bring mountain rain and snow showers as well as
much cooler temperatures for Wednesday and Thursday. Snow
accumulations will be less than 6 inches and generally confined to
elevations above 10K feet. Temperatures will warm for Friday and
Saturday ahead of the next system. Another round of gusty winds could
be possible on Sunday, followed by a return to cooler and unsettled
conditions to kick off next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report excessive wind or any observed
