This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Drier air will work in from the south today, bringing clearing skies
and temperatures a few degrees warmer. Afternoon showers and
thunderstorms are expected to form over the higher terrain, mainly
along and north of I-70. The main threats will be gusty outflow
winds, lightning, and small hail. Brief heavy rain will be possible
but not widespread.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

High pressure will dominate the forecast into the coming workweek,
keeping things warm and dry. Temperatures will gradually climb to
5-10 degrees above normal, with triple digits across the desert
valleys by mid next week.
