This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Winter Weather Advisories remain in effect for the eastern Uintas,
northern mountains, Flat Tops and now the central mountains as 5 to
10 inches of snow is expected for those areas. Elsewhere, look for
times of sun and clouds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

A strong atmospheric river sets up over the area Tuesday and persists
through Thanksgiving Day bringing significant snowfall to the
mountains of eastern Utah and western Colorado. A few feet of snow is
expected through this period with some of the favored higher terrain
possibly seeing more than that. Travel is discouraged over mountain
passes from Tuesday through Thursday due to snowfall amounts.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the
National Weather Service in Grand Junction.
