.DISCUSSION...Moisture will be increasing across eastern Utah and
western Colorado over the next 2-3 days, bringing gradually
increasing humidity and increased thunderstorm chances. As the
surface levels are very dry and will take time to moisten, dry
thunderstorms are a concern on Thursday and into Friday. Chances of
wetting rain do increase late Friday afternoon. Chances of afternoon
showers will linger through the weekend.

.THURSDAY...

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny (25-35 percent) then becoming
                    mostly cloudy (70-80 percent) after 1200. Areas
                    of smoke through the day. Slight chance of rain
                    showers and dry thunderstorms in the afternoon.
CWR.................10 percent.
Max temperature.....77-82.
Min humidity........15-20 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Southwest winds 3-5 mph shifting to the southeast
                    by 0900. Increasing to 4-8 mph after 1200.
                    Shifting to the west after 1600. Gusts up to 20 mph
                    possible in the afternoon. Gusty and erratic winds
                    expected near thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Smoke dispersal.....Poor (4000-12000 knot-ft) increasing to fair by
                    1000, to good by 1100, and to very good by 1200.
                    Decreasing again to good after 1400.
Mixing height.......1000 ft AGL increasing to 13400 ft AGL by 1200.
                    Decreasing to 8900 ft AGL by 1700.
Transport winds.....Southwest 12 mph.

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (65-75 percent) then becoming
                    partly cloudy (25-35 percent) after 2400. Chance
                    of rain showers and slight chance of dry
                    thunderstorms until 2400. Areas of smoke through
                    the night.

Wind (20 ft)........West winds 4-8 mph shifting to the southwest by
