.DISCUSSION...Afternoon showers and storms will become less
numerous each day as dry air works in. However, it may take a
couple days to scrub the existing mositure form the atmosphere. In
general, the forecast will trend warmer and drier through the
weekend and into next week, with lighter winds helping to mitigate
critical fire weather concerns. An Extreme Heat Warning brushes
up against the west/northwest edge of the fire perimeter from
Saturday afternoon through Monday evening.
