Spot Forecast for North Vallecito Flooding...La Plata County Office of Emergency Management

.DISCUSSION...Tropical moisture will continue to stream northward
overnight through Tuesday afternoon. The most probable forecast is
for the Vallecito Basin and nearby terrain to the north to receive
an additional 1 to 2 inches of rainfall this evening through
Tuesday afternoon, bringing overall storm totals since this
morning up to 3 inches. Thunderstorm activity will occur this
evening with best chances and coverage overnight through Tuesday
morning. Snow levels will remain above 12,000 feet so much of
this precipitation will run off.

.REST OF TONIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Cloudy (90-100 percent). Rain showers and chance
                    of thunderstorms. Moderate to heavy rainfall
                    rates of over an inch per hour is possible.
Min temperature.....43-48.
Max humidity........94-99 percent.
Surface winds.......South winds 8 to 12 mph with gusts to 20 mph.
                    Gusty and erratic winds expected near showers
                    and thunderstorms.

.TUESDAY...

Sky/weather.........Cloudy (85-95 percent) then becoming partly
                    sunny (60-70 percent). Rain showers likely and
                    slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning,
                    then chance of showers and thunderstorms in the
                    afternoon.
Max temperature.....54-59.
Min humidity........59-64 percent.
Surface winds.......South winds 8 to 12 mph with gusts to 20 mph.
                    Gusty and erratic winds expected near showers
                    and thunderstorms.

.TUESDAY NIGHT...

Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (80-90 percent). Chance of
                    thunderstorms in the evening. Chance of rain
                    showers through the night. Slight chance of
                    thunderstorms overnight.

Max humidity........84-89 percent.
Surface winds.......Southeast winds 8 to 12 mph. Gusty and erratic
                    winds expected near showers and thunderstorms.
