.DISCUSSION...

Drier conditions will taper off Tuesday, as monsoonal moisture
returns to the region. Critical fire weather is not expected.
Wetting rain chances will increase into Thursday, with afternoon
showers and thunderstorms remaining in the forecast into next
week. Gusty outflow winds, lightning and small hail will be the
primary threat from storms, with localized flash flooding possible
around the strongest rainshowers. Moisture values remain
consistent heading into next week, which will keep the threat of
terrain based thunderstorms in the forecast throughout the period.
