.DISCUSSION...

Showers and thunderstorms will continue on adjacent terrain.
Gusty outflow winds to around 40 mph can be expected around these
showers. Showers will decay rapidly approaching sunset. Winds
return to downvalley near sunset too. Additional moisture will
improve relative humidities on Tuesday, but also increase shower
and storm coverage on the mountains. Gusty outflow winds and
lightning will remain a threat Tuesday afternoon and early
evening. Wetting rain chances remain consistent through the
period.
