.DISCUSSION...

Hot and dry conditions continue Thursday, with critical fire
weather conditions not expected thanks to light winds. Wetting
rains are not expected. Near zero chance for thunderstorms in the
afternoon, but given an isolated storm develops on nearby terrain, expect
gusty outflows and little to no rain. Cooler temperatures and
additional moisture arrive Friday with wetting rains possible.
Thunderstorms with gusty outflow winds remain a threat Friday. A
cooler and potentially wetter pattern emerges heading into the
weekend and beyond.
