.DISCUSSION...Showers and thunderstorms will develop late this
morning into the afternoon and evening hours today as a storm
system and associated cold front move through, favoring the
northern and central portions of the area. This will keep fire
weather concerns to a minimum as chance of wetting rain is higher
across the region. Warmer and drier conditions move in this
weekend into early next week with daily afternoon storms possible
over the mountains.
