  degrees above seasonal norms.

Drier southwesterly flow will gradually transition to more
zonal flow by Wednesday as high pressure builds into the Desert
Southwest. As a result, generally clear skies and warming
temperatures will be the story for the coming week. There is a
low (<15%) chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm over
the San Juans and Divide each afternoon. Temperatures will run
5-10 degrees above normal through the rest of the work week,
with potential to drop back to near normal values over the
weekend. Guidance is hinting at a potential moisture return at
that point, as a trough moves into the Pacific Northwest and
pushes the high to the east. However, agreement on this solution
is still somewhat poor, so stay tuned if you have plans this
coming weekend. In the meantime, enjoy the pleasant late
summer/early fall conditions.

VFR conditions are forecast through the TAF period. Winds will
gust up to 25 knots this afternoon at most TAF sites with
scattered middle to high level clouds. Isolated showers and
storms are possible over the San Juans and the Divide during
the afternoon. Expect light diurnal winds overnight.
