...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate to heavy snow continues. Storm total snow
  accumulations between mainly 5 and 7 inches.

* WHERE...Counties along and south of the Nebraska-Kansas state line.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
  conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact mainly the
  Wednesday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Although this Warning currently runs through
  6 PM, accumulating snow will likely end between noon and 3 PM in
  most areas. This snow will primarily have a dry and fluffy
  consistency. Sustained northerly winds are not expected to exceed
  15 to 20 MPH, although gusts as high as 25 MPH are possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.

  south of Interstate 80.

* WHERE...Portions of central and south central Nebraska, mainly
  along and north of Highway 6.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact mainly the Wednesday morning commute.
